I enjoy baking more I suppose.

I was attempting to come home from spending Thanksgiving with my son and a blizzard derailed me. I somehow ended up in Texas. I have never been to Texas so I wasn't too upset.

I am gratefully home now and trying to catch up with everything. 0

Call Me (1966)

1) Chris Montez sings that you can always call him, regardless of the hour. Do you believe that it's ever too late to phone someone?

People really seem to just text these days so I am not too concerned.

2) He insists that you can depend on him, even when your friends desert you. Who is someone you can trust to have your back, no matter what?

My dog- this one.

He's old now and isn't feeling all that chipper. However, he is more tolerant of the puppies than he was a month ago.

3) Billy Crystal serenades Meg Ryan -- via answering machine -- with "Call Me" in When Harry Met Sally. Answering machines have been replaced by voice mail. Who most recently left you a voice mail?

I got one of those Asian talking spam voice mails. I assume it was spam anyway.

4) Chris Montez is a graduate of El Camino College in Torrance, California. The average daytime temperature in November in Torrance is 70ยบ. How is the weather where you are today?

We got into the 50's. Yay! The only fall wether day in November happened on the last day of November...

5) Today Chris actively promotes a healthy lifestyle to children. He was honored for his efforts by the group SOPA (Stop Obesity, Promote Activity). Do you believe you get enough exercise?

I average 20-25k steps a day these days.

6) Released in late 1965, "Call Me" became a big hit in 1966, reaching #2 on the charts. Even though it sold millions of copies and was certified as a Gold Record, it never hit #1. Is winning, or being the best, important to you?

I compete with myself rather than others.

7) In 1966, when this was playing on juke boxes, kids were watching Batman and Star Trek. If you had your choice of watching an episode right now, which would you choose: Star Trek or Batman?

Batman. duh.

8) Also in 1966, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was born. Do you enjoy cooking?

I enjoy baking more I suppose.

9) Random question -- You have the opportunity to perform in the circus! Would you rather be shot from a cannon, or put your head in the lion's mouth?

WHAT!?!?!?!

Thank goodness circus's are mostly gone.

Happy December Everyone!! :)

I get about 20-25 steps a day too, but without the "K". LOL. As far as whom I could count on, I could only count on the dog if I had her dinner in my hand other than that she could care less.

#2 "However, he is more tolerant of the puppies than he was a month ago." I find that is also true for me, the older I get the more tolerant I am.

"Batman. Duh." is, of course, the correct answer.

Your dog has a great face. I'd trust him.

Oh...give that old boy a big squeeze from me. He looks like a sweetie and we are coming up on the first anniversary of losing our big boy, so I'm missing him....and I love my little diva but she would probably sell me if she had the chance.

I believe the answer should be "Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh.....BATMAN!!!

I love your puppies but your elder statesman is quite a handsome chap! There's something about older dogs that seems so elegant.

Me, not so much when it comes to screaming kids in public places.

I'm very impressed with your step count. If I could do that I'd be thrilled!
That's a lot of walking, my friend. I so admire your accomplishing that milestone every day. I see we are alike in that we only compete with ourselves. It's much better that way, isn't it.
